Dolce&Gabbana Fall Winter 2011-12 Fashion Show Highlights

Though most of us are still worried about getting our necessities for the upcoming spring, in the go-go world of fashion were already worried about next winter! As much as I was looking forward to some sun, after browsing through D&G's upcoming fall winter line, I'm already dreaming of next winter. The collection was full of both androgynous and feminine pieces using a variety of fabrics and patterns such as lace, animal print, chiffon, fur, sequins, and a black and white star pattern which often reappeared throughout the show.  I'm especially loving D&G's rigid, oversize boxy blazers and vests with the playful and daring fabrics! Overall I can tell next year is going to be kick-a** already!

{Style Icons} Sky Ferreira

I'm aware its been over a week since I've posted anything but unfortunately my beautiful canon SLR  camera is in Jamaica accompanying my best friend Blair Stutz as a a small present for her 18th birthday  {Congrats Blair! Your finally a woman and I can't call you my baby Blair anymore!}. But, because I've been dying to post something on here, I'm breaking my usual blogging format and showing you guys my personal style idol!

Meet the incredibly talented and incredibly stylish Sky Ferreira. 

I first found Sky in Nylon magazines Music Issue which pictured her in a blue denim dress with her normally crazy, sexy wavy hair flat ironed pin straight. From what i saw and read, this girl looked sick. I immediately went to the computer and typed her up on Google and not only was her music great, but her look truly inspired me! I myself have never had a style idol but her dramatically playful, young look definitely stuck with me. She kinda reminded me of a hipster version of Ke$ha but 20x more beautiful and less cracked out. None the less, I can;t wait until this new artist makes a huge impact on the world of  music and fashion very soon;)
