Mourning a Murdered Weekend

After going back to school for the first after what seems like a lifetime ago, this weekend was a needed vacation to relax, finish my culminating assignments, and overall let a little loose. However dear ol' mum had a different idea on how to spend my first weekend of 2011; volunteering for 14 hours a day at a skating competition!  So much fun right?
No.
So as if I was going to a funeral, I thought todays best outfit choice was conservative black pieces and lots of them. I got the conservative part down by wearing a fitted blazer and a sophisticated tux top buttoned up to the neck. To keep the outfit from feeling stuffy I added a cute pair of high waisted shorts with a playful
bow, mixed velvet items, and a playful pair of cheetah print tights.
